Marett, age 85, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2013, in Comanche, Texas. He was born on March 31, 1928, in Van Zandt County, to Alton and Wretha (Cumbie) Marett. He was united in marriage to Helen Reynolds. She preceded him in death on January 13, 2008. Junior was a mechanic and a rancher all his life. He is survived by one brother, Johnny Marett and wife Betty of Brownfield; two grandchildren, Cody Marett and Alisha Hunter; three great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Debra Marett. He was preceded in death by two sons, Mike Marett and Billy Marett.
