FUNERAL SERVICE:  10:00 A.M. Monday, August 26, 2019, in Comanche Funeral Chapel. BURIAL:  Proctor Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION:  Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at Comanche Funeral Home.   Ailene Faye Kennedy, age 81, of Proctor passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones. Ailene was born to Roy and Lois Andrews on September 21, 1937, in Cross Plains. She married Herbert Kennedy on December 13, 1977; the two were married for 21 years before his passing in 1998. She loved her family and beloved dog, Bandit. Ailene is survived by her 3 children, Richmond Andrews of Comanche, Michelle Key and husband Sylvester of Fort Worth, Denise Linville and husband Jesse of Arlington; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Vickie Andrews, brother Dewey Andrews, and sister-in-law Genitha Andrews. She is also survived by numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Kennedy; two daughters, Stephanie Guidry and Renee Warren; and her parents, Roy and Lois Andrews; and siblings Ray Andrews, Junior Andrews, and Novella Cowan.
