Alan was born on January 8, 1969, in Dallas, Texas to Donald Alan Jones, Sr. and Arlene (Heinrich). He was united in marriage to Renée Trosper on August 29, 1992, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a life member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and worked for General Motors in Arlington.
He is survived by his wife, Renée Trosper-Jones; daughter, Jessica Jones; mother, Arlene (Heinrich) Jones; brother, Brian Jones and wife, Cameron; mother- and father-in-law, Rita and Ray Trosper; sisters-in-law, Rachel Trosper, Robyn Trosper and partner, Edward Zarecky; brother-in-law, Reed Trosper and wife, Sarita; nieces and nephew; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and sweet little dog, Elton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Alan Jones, Sr.
