FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M. Friday April 11, 2014, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. ROSARY: 7:00 P.M. Thursday night at the funeral home. VISITATION: Family will meet with friends immediately following the Rosary - approximately 7:30 P.M. LUNCH: Family will have lunch at Sacred Heart Catholic Church following the funeral services. Alejandra Sandra Salinas, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on April 24, 1928, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to Jorge Magallanes and Elisa (Rodarte) Magallanes. On April 6, 1949, she was united in marriage to Timoteo Salinas in Alice, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1990. Sandra was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and great-great-great-grandmother. She was a member of Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in Comanche and served on the Parish Council. She was a member of the Sacred Heart League. She is survived by seven daughters, Susan Moya and husband Ricky of Comanche, Lupe Zarate and husband Elizaio of Comanche, Carmen Moreno and husband Jose of Allen, Corina Stovall and husband Randy of Sachse, Lucia Cerda of Stafford, Theresa Rainville of Rogers, Arkansas, and Gloria Salinas and Tim Labadie of Austin; four sons, Amando Salinas and wife Josephine of Comanche, Timothy Salinas, Jr. and wife Brenda of Comanche, Paul Salinas of Stephenville, and Peter Salinas of Midland; thirty-nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Bonifacio Magallanes of Monerey, Mexico; two sisters, Apolina Varela Mendoza of Monterey, Mexico, and Amelia Mendoza Magallanes of Monterey, Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jorge and Elisa Magallanes; son, Domingo Salinas; brother, Leonardo Magallanes; and two grandsons, George Turner and Robert Salinas.
