SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County. ROSARY: 6:00 P.M. Saturday evening in the funeral home chapel. VISITATION: Famly will receive friends from 6:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Alex Acevedo, age 49, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012, in Comanche, Texas. He was born on August 24, 1962, in Jimenez Coahuila, Mexico, to Domingo Acevedo and Ramona (Constancio) Acevedo. He was a loving and devoted father, and loved all his many family members. Alex was a Lineman for TXU. He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Acevedo of Comanche and Monica Acevedo of Comanche; two brothers, Domingo Acevedo, Jr. and his wife Lupe of Comanche, and Andy Acevedo of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Bertha Rodriguez and her husband Rene of Abilene, Juanita Garza and her husband Wally of Brownwood, Gloria Zambrano and her husband Ramon of Lake Brownwood, and Lupe Acevedo of Comanche; and many nieces and nephews.
