VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 P.M. Until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at New Life Pentecostal Church in Comanche, following the funeral services. Alma Ellen Woolsey, age 87, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015, in Hamilton, Texas. She was born on March 14, 1928, in West, Texas, to Robert W. and Ellen E. (Hicks) Johnson. In 1946, she was united in marriage to Albert Daniel Loyd Woolsey in Comanche, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1987. Alma was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a faithful and giving person, exceptional in her support of her family and friends. She delighted in her home and in earlier years made many beautiful quilts. Alma was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Dublin. She is survived by three sons: Loyd Woolsey and wife Eller of Carlton, Carl Woolsey and granddaughter Misty of Comanche, and “Cowboy” Charles Woolsey and wife Janie of Stephenville; eleven grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Floyd Johnson of Carlton; and two sisters, Sandra Kuykendall and husband Duane of Palacios, and Shirley Sullivan and husband Tommy of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Marie Woolsey; three sons, Jerry Wayne Woolsey, Edwin Kimble Woolsey, and Kenneth Ray Woolsey; five brothers and four sisters; and parents, Robert and Ellen Johnson.
