Alvie Plumlee

Alvie Plumlee passed away at Western Hills after 96 years on this earth. He is presided in death by the love of his life, Winnie Mae Johnson Plumlee; parents, Gilbert Steve and Swan Hilda Plumlee; daughter, Deborah Lee Plumlee Campbell; brother, Arnold; and two sisters, Jane Jones and Shirley Jean Plumlee.

He is survived by daughter, Elizabeth (Reba) Ann Dudley (Arnold); son, Alvie Plumlee, Jr. (Teresa [Terri]; siblings, Annie McKinney, Joy Fitzgerald, Wayne Plumlee (Judy), Raymond Plumlee (Nancy), Bonnie York and Loretta Lowe; grandkids; great-grandkids; nieces and nephews aplenty.

He served in the US Army from January 1951 until January 1953, when he was honorably discharged.

There will be a memorial service at his home church, Abundant Life Church, 1717 Castle Dr. Garland, Texas at 2:00 PM on January 11, 2025.
