April Dawn Martin passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025. She was born on November 16, 1979, in Comanche County, Texas to Larry and Cathy (Bratton) Martin.
She became a cosmetologist instructor in cutting hair and loved cutting hair professionally. She had a wonderful perspective on life and loved hard. She looked for good in everyone and everything. April loved her boys fiercely and was thrilled about becoming a grandmother soon and it showed. She had a lot of friends that cared about her and she cared equally about them. She enjoyed being on the lake and outdoors, listening to music. She was a free-spirited person and enjoyed cooking and made the best sweet tea.
April is survived by her three sons, Zain Rodriguez and fiancé, Sky Suniga, Zachary Rodriguez, and Dylan Colcleasure; Grandson, Rocky Rodriguez; boyfriend, Clint Byrd; Brother, Shane Cloud; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Cathy (Bratton) Martin and stepfather, Jackson Bratton.
