Born on March 18, 1959 in Oakdale, LA to the union of Donald Lee Goleman and Martha Lou Neal Goleman. She was the oldest of her two siblings, Becky Martin of Pitkin, LA and Gayle Johnson of Cravens, LA.
Although born in Louisiana, she considered herself a Texan having lived most of her life there. It was there that she met her life partner, Marti. Together they shared life, love and made many happy memories.
Belinda was a nurturer. She liked to cook and feed her family. No one’s plate was ever empty when she was around. Belinda had a comedic flair like her dad, Don. She was always making people laugh. She was fortunate that she had a best friend in her own sister, Gayle, who she talked with every day.
She loved her children and especially loved her grandchildren. Hosting birthday parties for the grands was a delight for her and something she cherished.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Martha Lou Goleman.
Those left to cherish her memory are: Life Partner, Marti of Comanche, TX; two sons, Rodney (Michelle) Loftin of Dry Creek, LA, Lynn (Tessia) Goleman of Vidor, TX; two daughters, Lee Ann (Nick) Gray of Crawfordville, FL and Crystal (Augustine) Toruno of Haines City, FL; two sisters, Becky (Randy) Martin and Gayle (Anthony) Martin; eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends.
