Houston Street, Comanche, Texas 76442. Benny J. Waldrep, age 86, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017, in Stephenville, Texas. He was born on November 29, 1930, in Rising Star, Texas to James and Beulah (Hodnett) Waldrep. On July 3, 1954, he was united in marriage to Virginia Chumney in Hamilton, Texas. Benny was self employed as an implement dealer and faithful to his Lord. He served in the Air Force. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Comanche. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Chumney) Waldrep of Comanche; two sons, James Waldrep and wife, Martha, of Georgia and Raymond Waldrep of Comanche; daughter, Rebecca (Waldrep) Templeton and husband, Philip, of Azle; and three grandchildren, Marlia Templeton, Jason Templeton and Carissa Waldrep. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Beulah (Hodnett) Waldrep.
