FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. BURIAL: Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. Berta Lorene Robinson, age 88, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on October 21, 1924, in Brownwood, Texas, to Horace Greely Layman and Millie (Hicks) Layman. She married Walter Williams, who preceded her in death on December 24, 1990. Later she married L. E. Clawson. He preceded her in death in August, 1997. On October 11, 1966, she married Clifton Vernon Robinson in Gatesville. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1976. Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Williams and wife Melinda of Troup, and Walter “Butch” Williams, Jr., and wife Tami of Boise, Idaho; two daughters, Daphna Vincent and husband Jerry of Breckenridge, and Tammy Jones and husband Joe of Waxahachie; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; twenty-one great-great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Kosub of St. Hedwig; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Geneva Ator, Carrie Lawless, and Faye Thiebaud; two half brothers; and one half-sister.
