FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Energy Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Pettit Baptist Church at 12:00 Noon on Saturday. MEMORIALS: Pettit Baptist Church, 150 CR 248, Gustine, Texas 76455. She was born on September 3, 1937, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to William E. and Janey Clara (Amos) Lucas. On September 24, 1959, she was united in marriage to Lewis D. Center in Washington D.C. She was a homemaker and a member of Pettit Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Lewis D. Center of Belton; three sons, Lewis D. Center, Jr. of Houston, Joseph W. Center and wife Leah M. of Houston, and Michael E. Center and wife Mylissa of Corpus Christi; six grandchildren, Lucas, Willem, Emma, Ally, Christopher, and Blayne; four great-grandchildren, Ivy, Orion Alexander, Cruz, and Gabriella Marie; sister, Linda M. Hoggard and husband Ralph of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by infant daughter, Terry; her parents, Bill and Janey Lucas; one brother and one sister.
