Betty Jean Cunningham passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at her home south of Comanche, Texas at the age of 62 years, 2 months and 22 days. She was born February 27, 1949 in Comanche, Texas to Burton and Betty (Farnsworth) Cunningham, the middle of three children. She grew up on the family ranch where her family raised cattle, sheep and goats. She graduated from Comanche High School and later attended Sam Houston State University. She was a homemaker and rancher, having moved back to the family ranch in 1980. Jean loved to take care of animals, cook, sew, tend to roses and spend time with her grandchildren. Jean is survived by her children, Lisa Cupps and husband Jerry of Comanche, Texas; son, Lee Loeffler and wife Tina of Lampasas, Texas; son, Landon Loeffler and wife Amanda of Hico, Texas; grandchildren Tanna and Sage Cupps and Breighton and Taylor Loeffler. Brother, John Cunningham of Cisco, Texas; sister, Mary Howard of Fort Worth, Texas; and very special cousins, numerous nieces, nephews and Ginger. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Burton and Betty (Farnsworth) Cunningham.
