Betty Jean Hall, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024, at Comanche County Medical Center in Comanche, Texas. She was born on December 5, 1939, in Gorman, Texas, to William Thomas Parkman and Eunice Boatman Parkman. On July 5, 1958, shortly after graduating from Gustine High School, she was united in marriage to Carl D. Hall in Gustine, Texas.

Betty had many career highlights throughout her life, including being part owner of Limerock Campers alongside her loving husband, as well as working for Harold Northcut in his fruit stand. She also worked as a cook and site manager at Comanche Senior Citizens Center for 37 years while simultaneously working alongside her husband and family in their Auction business. Betty had a variety of interests, including being a homemaker, quilting, sewing, gardening, shopping, and baking. She cherished the quality time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren over the years. Betty was known for her work ethic, her immense love for her family, and her willingness to go on any adventure her family and friends wanted to take her on.

She is survived by her brother Tommy Gail Parkman and wife, Sharon Parkman of Irving, Texas; sister Kay Frances Holland of Henderson, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Wade Hall, and wife, Betty Hall of Comanche, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Carla Carlisle and husband Monty Carlisle of Mullin, Texas; grandson, Wesley Hall and wife Ashley Hall of Granbury, Texas; granddaughter, Kenna Hall of Abilene, Texas; grandson, Chance Carlisle and wife Jessica Carlisle of Mullin, Texas; grandson Tate Carlisle and wife Danielle Carlisle of Mullin, Texas; and seven great-grandchildren: Braxton and Levi Works, Tatum and Stevi Carlisle, and Chancee, Creece, and Teague Carlisle, all of Mullin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Hall, of 55 years, parents William Thomas Parkman and Eunice Boatman Parkman, sister-in-law Sammye Parkman, brother-in-law LG Holland, niece Renae Holland, and other extended family whom she loved.

Visitation will be from 8am-1pm at Comanche Funeral Home on Sunday, December 1, 2024. As a family, we will not be present at the visitation. However, we would love for you to go by and sign the guest book. Graveside Service will be at 2 pm on Sunday, December 1, at Board Church Cemetery, with Dayton House officiating.

In Lieu of Flowers, the Family requests memorials to be made to the Comanche Senior Citizens, 209 W. Duncan, Comanche, Texas.
