Betty O'Connor

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Jane O'Connor, who departed this life on November 4th, 2024, at the age of 78. Betty was known by many names: Mom, Grandma, Nana, Aunt B, Neighbor and Friend. Betty spent most of her working life as a waitress where she shined with a servant's heart. Betty not only served people in her professional life, but Betty loved to serve her family and loved ones whether it was sharing laughter, offering a listening ear, or providing a steady hand. Betty's presence was always a comfort and a soft place to land. Everyone who got to know Betty knew that she had a fire personality, a quick tongue, and a heart of Gold.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Brian Windell Parker and Justin Wade Parker, granddaughter, Megan Danielle Smith, and sister Edna Jean Sullivan, whose memories she carried with her always.

Betty leaves behind her daughter, Donna Howell, Grandchildren Rodney Smith, Devin Smith, Dustin Parker, Ashley Parker, Kevin Parker, Cody Parker, Courtney Gourley, Tyler Whitfield, 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many friends. Betty's loved ones brought her great joy, and she will be missed by each of them more than words can express.
