King, age 84, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013, in White Settlement, Texas. He was born on October 27, 1928, in Oklahoma, to William C. and Lela (Pitts) King. In 1947 he was united in marriage to Patricia Ruth McIntosh in Atoka, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death. On September 6, 1996, he married Betty Magness Orvig in Keller, Texas. For thirty-one years Bill worked for Fort Worth Stockyard and for five years was part owner of Red-I-Steel in Fort Worth. He was a member of Tarrant County Bird Hunters. He is survived by his wife, Betty F. King of White Settlement; sons, Billy W. King and wife Sandra of Fort Worth and Joe C. King of Keller; stepson, Jerry Orvig of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandson, Glenn C. King of Keller; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, C. Ray King and Joseph Loring King.
