Clark Street, Comanche, Texas 76442. Billie Jean Basham, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on August 28, 1928, in Colorado City, Texas, to Huron and Cassie (Hunter) Dorn. On March 9, 1947, she was united in marriage to Robert Earl Basham in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2011. For over fifty years Billie managed the family business in Dublin, Texas. She was a member of St. Matthew Episcopal Church in Comanche. She is survived by her son, Jim Bob Basham and wife Jackie of Dublin; granddaughters, Cassie Gaines and husband Matt of Comanche; Lindsey Yarbrough and husband Jason of Comanche; grandson, Brian Wooley and wife Tamie, and their family of Weatherford; great-grandchildren Marlie Gaines, Brady Gaines, and Avery Gaines; two nieces, one nephew, and their families. She was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Basham, her daughter-in-law Lou Ann Basham; and her sister, Nancy Hamm.
