FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 22, 2013, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Gardens of Memory in Comanche County. VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Lunch will be served at Pearl Street Church of Christ following services. Billy Edward Harris, age 76, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Cross Country Health Care Center, in Brownwood, Texas. He was born on December 24, 1936, in Gorman, Texas, to Frank Harris and Faye (Beam) Harris. On February 25, 1965, he was united in marriage to Joyce (Nichols) Harris in Comanche. Billy was self-employed and the owner of Harris Drilling. He was a member of the Pearl Street Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Harris of Comanche; one son, Steven Harris and wife Sheila of Comanche; one daughter, Carla Leverett and Husband Charlie of Goldthwaite; one brother, Kenneth Harris and wife Kay of Comanche; three grandchildren: Brendon, Kylie and Reagan.
