FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 9, 2011, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Union Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at 1002 W. Wright, Comanche, at 12:00 Noon on Monday. Billy Ruth Rust, age 75, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011, in Brownwood, Texas. She was born on September 29, 1935, in Bula, Texas, to W. E. and Susie Janet (Stanley) Vernon. Billy Ruth served Comanche County for twenty-nine years, twenty-four of those years as Comanche County Treasurer. She is survived by daughter, Susie Jackson and husband Allen of Hobbs, New Mexico; daughter, Carol Lewallen and husband, Jim of Lingleville; son, Richard Rust and Ginger Kinsey of Comanche; daughter, Sandy Laughlin Mayfield and husband Roy of Comanche; son, Vernon Rust and wife, Becky of Comanche; sisters, Shirley Wells and husband Dale of Pace, Florida, Robby McGee and husband Bill of Grand Junction, Colorado, Linda Sparks and Jim Henderson of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Vicky Martin and husband Bill of Granbury, Texas; nine grandchildren, Amy Jackson, Brittany Rust and Hicham Saloum, Kassie Laughlin, Alyx Laughlin, Christopher Rust, Madison Rust, Morgan Rust, Kimberly Stewart, and Kevin Mayfield; three great-grandchildren, Wesley Grant Stewart, Sally Stewart, and Karis Stewart. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Angela Jackson.
