Bobby Davis

A celebration of Bobby's life will be held at a later date. Bobby Glen Davis, age 82, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016, in Comanche County, Texas, with his family at his side. He was born on February 28, 1934, in Hasse, Texas, to Roe Allon and Ara Fae (Hawley) Davis. On February 9, 1962, he was united in marriage to Norma Jean Elder in Odessa. She preceded him in death on January 24, 2007. Bob worked in the oil field for fifteen years. He moved to Comanche in 1969. He owned and operated Davis equipment. Bob was a kind, loving man, and was always helping others. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Odessa. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Danny Glen and Amy Davis of Comanche, and Donny Lynn and Elizabeth Davis of Tomball; daughter, Kristi Hicks of Fort Worth; grandchildren: Joshua Davis and wife Angelia, Garrick Hicks, Justina Davis, Derek Davis and wife Kaitlyn, Kayla Peace and husband Justin, and Princess McNutt and husband David; great-grandchildren: Casey Guthrie, Madeline Guthrie, Samantha Peace, and William Davis; siblings, Nelda Wilkerson and husband Jim, Peggy Davis, Jessie Davis and wife Sarah, and Mark Davis and wife Alma; and his devoted companion - his dog, Sadie.
