VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Brenda Lynn Brown, age 51, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015, in Erath County, Texas. She was born on January 31, 1964, in Comanche, Texas, to Frank Ira and LaVonna (Nesbett) Rogers. On March 23, 1990, she was united in marriage to David Brown in Eastland. Brenda was a kind and gentle Christian woman, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was greatly loved and cherished by her husband and family and was the heart of their home. She is survived by her husband, David Leon Brown, Jr., of Hico; daughter, Kimberley Totman and husband Michael of San Antonio; son, David Leon Brown, III, of Hico; grandchildren, Finley Claire Totman, Keeley Quinn Totman, and Joseph Leeland Totman; brothers, Dean Rogers and wife Sheila of Sidney, David Rogers and wife Elizabeth of Sidney, Norman Rogers and wife Trinia of Comanche, and Aaron Rogers and wife Kim of Comanche; sisters, Iralonna Shaver and husband Buzz of Illinois, Bonnie McClellan of Stephenville, Retha Strickland and husband Dana of Waco, and Linda Hanus and husband Mark of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and LaVonna Rogers; and sister, Laura LaFran.
