MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers a memorial of choice will be appreciated. Camelia Elaine Brown Wilson, age 74, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2015, in Comanche, Texas. Born November 24, 1940, in Tulia, Texas, to Ira Marion Brown and Margaret Irene (Berry) Brown, she graduated from Tulia High, Class of 1958. Her marriage of fifty-three years occurred on April 20, 1962, with James Wilson. She was a graduate of West Texas State and served as an elementary school teacher for twenty-seven years. One of her most liked experiences was giving private oil painting lessons to young students in her home. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution for over forty years and a past president of the Local TWFC Women’s Heritage Club. Many earlier years were devoted to being a Sunday School teacher for youngsters. Survivors include her husband James of Comanche; son Kevin of Brownwood; Daughter Kamille of Comanche; granddaughters Sabrina and Katrina; and two great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend our greatest gratitude to the many, many caretakers who brought comfort to Elaine for the past six months.
