Carol Sue Limmer, age 82, went to be with her Lord & Savior on March 31, 2025. She was born on April 05, 1942, in Gorman, Tx, to Clarence Otis Harris and Floye Velma Breedlove. She was a beloved wife to Dalton W. Limmer, whom she married on July 22, 1964.
After graduating from Comanche High School, Sue dedicated her career to serving others in healthcare, working at Gorman Hospital, Blackwood Hospital, and Mims Hospital before their closure. She later transitioned to the banking world where she held various positions as a loan officer, making lifelong friends at First Comanche Bank until its closure. She then worked for the rest of her career at Comanche National Bank, where she retired at the age of 69. Sue was not only a dedicated worker but also an active member of the Hope Lutheran Church, sharing her kindness and love with everyone around her. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother, who was always willing to lend a hand to those she met.
Sue is survived by her beloved husband, Dalton Limmer; son, Darrell Limmer, and her four grandkids and four great-grandkids, along with a host of 17 nieces and nephews who adored her. She will be dearly missed by all who know her.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters: Judith Harris from Comanche, Nina Bether Harvey from Collins, Mo and Bonnie Poer from Arlington.
For those wishing to pay their respects, there will be a public viewing at Comanche Funeral Home on April 6, 2025, from 5:00PM - 6:00PM. Sue's funeral service will follow on April 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at Comanche Funeral Home. After the service, she will be laid to rest at White Point Cemetery, surrounded by love and memories.
