Carolyn Green

GRAVESIDE SERVICE:  2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION:  11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 14, until time to leave for the cemetery.
Carolyn Green, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, in Arlington, Texas. She was born on October 5, 1941, in Comanche, Texas, to Sam E. and Lynna Celia (Ross) Duke.  On October 6, 1956, she was united in marriage to Gordon O. Green in Durant, Oklahoma.  Carolyn was a wonderful wife, mother and Nana.  She was a selfless woman, who dedicated her life to helping her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved taking her grandchildren on adventures, was a proud Texan and loved Texas barbeque.  Carolyn was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Gordon O. Green of Arlington; daughters, Terri Cutter and husband Phillip of Pekin, Illinois, Pamela Mason of Arlington, and Danielle Green and wife Linda Creglow of Arlingon; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Duke and wife Sue of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelly Heberger, and one grandson, Anthony Williams.
