Carolyn Sue (Wilson) Thetford, age 59, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018, in Abilene, Texas. She was born on June 10, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, to Howard and Sue (Wilhite) Wilson. She was united in marriage to Bryan Thetford in Stephenville, on June 30, 1979. Carolyn was a graduate of Tarleton State University and a member of O.W.L.S. social club.  She was a dedicated educator across the state of Texas for over 20 years. Her kindness and compassion impacted the lives of her students, many of who remain life long friends. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Thetford of Abilene; two sons: Bryan Jay Thetford and wife Aundrea of Austin, Clay Jameson Thetford and fiancée Ashley of Abilene; three brothers: Bobby Wilson and wife, Mary Ellen of Comanche, Larry Wilson and wife, Terese of Granbury and Joe Wilson of Sidney; brothers-in-law, Mack Thetford and wife Joyce of Dublin; Eric Thetford and wife Inez of Corpus Christi; sisters-in-law; Debra Thetford of Abilene, Natalie Barclay and husband Billy of Tunas, Missouri, and Karla Thetford of Houston; one grandson, George Arturo Thetford and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Sue Wilson and brother-in-law, Bart Thetford.
