Carrol Dean Seago, age 87, passed away at his home on April 6, 2023.
Carrol was born January 26, 1936, in Gustine, Texas. He graduated from Gustine High School in 1954. Upon graduation, he joined the Army for a two-year stint during the Korean War where he was stationed for a time in France.
He returned to marry his high school sweetheart Deloris Westfall. They resided in Irving, Texas where Carrol was employed by Delta Airlines for 32 years before retiring to their farm.
Carrol was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Our father had an extremely high moral character and was a friend to all.
Carrol leaves behind to cherish his memory a daughter, Carolyn McKaughan and husband, Jim; a son, James Seago and wife, Sheri; a son, Randy Seago and partner, Eric Baze. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, 29 great grands and 12 great-great grands and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife, Deloris Seago; his parents, Coin and Lura (Boyd) Seago and his sister, Sue Seago Lester.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
