VISITATION: Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday night at the funeral Home. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Pear Street Church of Christ at 12:00 Noon on Friday. MEMORIALS: Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256, CFC #11425 Carroll Conway, age 80, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013, in Brownwood, Texas. He was born on July 21, 1933, in Comanche, Texas, to William Jackson Conway and Gladys Ione (Morgan) Conway. On October 29, 1954, he was united in marriage to Betty Jones in Comanche. She preceded him in death on January 6, 2008. Carroll was a United States Air Force veteran. For several years he was a mail carrier in Comanche and for thirty years he drove a truck for Harry Cloud Trucking and Bill James Trucking. He was a member of Pearl Street Church of Christ. Carroll was a volunteer fire fighter in Comanche and a member of the V.F.W. and D.A.V. He is survived by two daughters, Bridget Crawford and husband Gordon of Eula, and Judy Smith and husband Brian of Comanche; three grandchildren: Cassie Crawford, Hailie Hubbard, and Joshua Crawford; and five great-grandchildren: Caelynn Crawford, Maddi Crawford, Bentley Hubbard, Holton Hubbard, and Mason Musick.
