FUNERAL SERVICES:  10:00 A.M. Monday, July 2, 2018, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL:  Downing Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION:  Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 1, 2018. LUNCH:  Family will have lunch at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church following the funeral services.
Chance Evan Avery, age 33, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Austin, Texas He was born on December 27, 1984, in DeLeon, Texas, the son of Doris (Evans) Williford.  He graduated from Comanche High School in 2004.  Chance loved music and was very involved in the Texas music scene and, throughout his career as a sound engineer and tour manager, he worked with numerous bands.  He   was currently working for the band “The Lawless” and also worked at the Rustic Tap in Austin. He is survived by mother and stepfather, Doris and Harold Williford of Comanche; brothers, Roddy Evans of Fort Worth and Bradley Avery of Lampasas; step-brother, Tommy Williford of Dublin; sister, Cristal Gilligan of Comanche; nieces and nephews: Miranda Boatman, Cassidy Gilligan, Joe Gilligan, Alora Saxton, Ashley Williford, Evan Williford, Austin Williford, and Sarah Taylor; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arnold and Dorothy Evans.
