FUNERAL SERVICES:  2:00 P.M. Monday, March 31, 2014, at Comanche Funeral Home. BURIAL:  Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION:  6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday night at the funeral home. Charlene May, age 76, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014, in Comanche County, Texas. She was born on August 26, 1937, in Comanche, Texas, to Charles and Dollie (Belt) Matthews. On May 27, 1955, she was united in marriage to Harold May in Comanche. Charlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Harold May of Comanche County; four daughters, Sherry Sims of Dallas, Debra Delmasso and husband Randy of Seminole, Carolyn Phifer and husband David of Comanche, and Cynthia Stout and husband Johnny of Comanche; seven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, two sisters and one brother.
