Charles Weidner

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel BURIAL: Barbee Cemetery in Erath County. VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at Comanche Funeral Home. Charles Weidner, age 72, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011, in Comanche County, Texas. He was born on January 1, 1939, in Corpus Christi. On October 22, 1960, he was united in marriage to Janette Dunn in Comanche County. Charles was veteran of the United States Navy. He was a long time farmer and truck driver. He also worked for Bell Helicopter for many years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Janette Weidner of Comanche; son David Weidner of Kingwood; daughter, Jana Weidner of Austin; two grandchildren, Olivia Weidner and Jenna Weidner; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Sandra Weidner of Waxahachie; nephews, Steve Weidner and Scott Weidner; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Blanche (Gilbreath) Barbee.
