LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at First United Methodist Church at 12:00 Noon on Friday. Clarice Goforth, age 82, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013, in Temple, Texas. She was born on January 2, 1931, in Comanche County, Texas, to Eargle Parker, Sr. and Grace (Jones) Parker. On August 4, 1962, she was united in marriage to Billy James Goforth in Comanche. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1989. Clarice was an X-Ray technician and for many years worked for Blackwood Flannery Clinic and, later, Brownwood Regional Medical Center in Brownwood until she retired. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Comanche. She is survived by her son, Tommy Marshall and wife Cheryl of Onalaska; daughter, Beverly Ann Clark and husband Jim of Temple; six grandchildren, Rachel Casburn and husband D.J., John Clark and wife Ashlie, Kristen Padilla, Shane Stoe and wife Amanda, Jeremy Stoe, and Chris Blackwell and wife Schyler; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Parker and wife Betty Jean of Brownwood; sisters, Janice Simpson of De Leon, and Virginia Turner and husband Weldon of Comanche; brothers-in-law, Glen Hodges of Granbury and Woody Ormsby of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, David Marshall; two brothers, Bill Parker and Bob Parker; and two sisters, Sue Ormsby and Betty Lou Hodges.
