FUNERAL SERVICE:  2:00 P.M. Friday, February 21, 2020, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL:  Toliver Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION:  Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Thursday, February 20, 2020, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. MEMORIALS:  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 3344, Abilene, Texas 79604.   Coman Geye, age 94, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020, in Comanche, Texas. He was born on April 2, 1925, in Lamkin, Texas, to Martin Luther and Iva (Miller) Geye.  On March 18, 1975, he was united in marriage to Vera M. Slaughter.  She preceded him in death in March, 1990.  He married Gladys Walker in Jonesboro, Texas on August 5, 1995.  She preceded him in death in March, 2013. Coman was a great husband, father, and grandfather, and loved the time he spent with his family.  For most of his life he was a hard-working farmer and rancher.  After work, he enjoyed watching wrestling on television, long before it was ‘cool’.  Coman liked to raise a garden and always shared his harvest with his friends and neighbors.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gustine. He is survived by his son, David Geye and wife Christian of Ruckersville, Virginia; grandchildren: Emryse Geye and Paul Geye; sister, Margie O’Neal of Stephenville and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Iva Geye; brothers, Horace Geye and Clinton Geye; and sister, Iun Day.
