Born in Gorman, Texas on August 25, 1937, to parents Isaac William Keith and Montie Auvenshine Keith, he lived most of his life in Beattie, Texas.  As a retired peanut farmer, rancher, and feedlot operator, he was at his best on the land.  He married Elizabeth Ann Tucker in Brownwood, Texas on May 23, 1955, the same day he graduated from Comanche High School.  They spent the next forty-five years together working side by side farming, operating Beattie Feeders and building their legacy as benefactors to so many family members and friends.  Prior to her death they served faithfully for many years at Northside Baptist Church in De Leon, Texas, as music director and pianist.  He was a deacon at Northside Baptist Church in De Leon and at East Side Baptist Church, Comanche, where he was currently a member. He is survived by two children: daughter Darla Keith Richardson and husband Don, and son Brett Keith and wife Beverly; grandsons Jarret Richardson and wife Allison, and Kolby Richardson and wife Sara; granddaughters Brittany Evans and husband Blake, Kara Gordon and husband Seth, Kendra Reyes and husband Nestor, and Briona Alpuerto and husband Jacob; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Keith and Neeley Keith; special friend Mollie Clark; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; sister Jean Dukes; brother Frankie Dean “Dink” Keith; and sister Jo Welch.
