Consuelo "Connie" Aguirre

Consuelo “Connie” Rendon Aguirre, age 85, passed away on Saturday, June 08, 2024, in Comanche, Texas. She was born on July 10, 1938, and was raised by her loving parents, Margarito Estrada, Sr. and Micaela (Carrillo) Estrada.

In November 1972, she married the love of her life, Alfonso Aguirre. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2022.

She worked as a cook at several places and as a seamstress at the sewing factory, where she began to design and sew her own wardrobes. She loved working outside in her yard, taking care of her plants, traveling, shopping, and getting together with her family. After retirement, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and embroidery.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Margaret Constancia and husband, Mario, of Comanche, Tx; sons, Alejandro Ramos of Laredo, Tx, Willie Mello of Dallas, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Angie Ramos; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Maria Gonzales Soto; stepbrother, Margarito Estrada, Jr.; and nieces, nephews; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margarito Estrada, Sr. and Micaela (Carrillo) Estrada; daughters, Juanita Nevarez and Yolanda Rubio; son, Ramon Ramos; grandsons, Danny Rubio and LeRoy Ramos; great-grandchild, Haven Rubio; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Mello; siblings, Julia Rendon, Guadalupe Rendon, Rosa Aguilar, Arturo Estrada Sr., and Ricky Estrada.
