Daniel "Dj" Ruggles

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Daniel Jay “DJ” Ruggles. He passed away at 45 years of age on June 26th of 2023.

He was born on July 12, 1977, to Leslie and Judith. He was united in marriage to Jacqualyn Tarpley on August 26, 1998.

He is survived by his wife Jackie Ruggles and his four children, Faith McAbee (husband Logan McAbee), Christian Ruggles, Timothy Ruggles, and Destiny Ruggles; his mother Judy Barlow (husband Ray Barlow) and his siblings, Tina Ruggles, Michele Ruggles, Anthony Ruggles, Raymond Ruggles, Christopher Ruggles, Leslie Ruggles, James Ruggles, Jason Ruggles, Gracie Ruggles, and Jeremiah Ruggles.

He always wanted to be surrounded by friends and family. He made sure that no matter what was going on his family was always taken care of. His favorite nights were when he and Jackie hosted family game nights and we were altogether dancing and playing games. He loved to fish and would be out by the lake everyday if he could have been. He was the most charismatic person you would ever meet. To know him was to love him and to be loved by him. We will all miss him more than anything, but he would want to remind us that he is in the best place he could be. He is with God watching over us.
