Daniel Wyche

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Siloam Cemetery in Comanche County. Daniel Howard Wyche, age 79, passed away Thursday March 6 at the Fairfield Nursing Home in Fairfield, Texas. “Danny” was welcomed into the world by his loving parents Claude Lee Wyche, D.C. and Nell (Hartson) Wyche and his three adoring sisters, Berniece, Jeanne and Mirla. He was born about two miles east of Siloam Cemetery on the highest hill in the area. His foot prints were left on that chalky ground many times. Even as a small boy “Danny” learned courage and fortitude losing his beloved mother at five years of age and his devoted father at nineteen years of age. He attended elementary school in Ft. Worth, Texas and graduated from Gustine High School where he excelled in sports, including football. He served with the United States Army in Wiesbaden, Germany and later attended Texas Chiropractic College in San Antonio, Texas. On April 13, 1984, he was united in marriage to Rebecca Gant in Granbury, Texas. Dan was Parts Manager for Fort Worth Nuts and Bolts in Fort Worth. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rebecca Elaine Gant Fulton Wyche of Comanche, Texas; sons, Eric David Wyche of Tyler, Texas and Anthony Lee Wyche of Temple, Texas; daughters, Christine Eberly and husband Michael of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Claudine Lonergan and husband Mark of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Cathy Eberly and husband Craig of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Austin Wyche, Tyson Wyche, Seth Wyche, Lanette Eberly, Matthew Eberly, Britney Lonergan, Travis Lonergan, Ashley Lonergan, Brandon Eberly, Janelle Eberly; great grandchild, Trentin Lonergan; sisters, Jeanne Wyche York of Waco, Texas and Mirla Wyche Indelicato of Payson, Arizona; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, his sister Berniece Green, and daughter-in-law Cody Wyche.
