VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Sunday January 8, 2017, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. LUNCH: Lunch for the family will be at Gustine Methodist Church. Danny Lee Davis, age 67, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017, in Comanche, Texas. He was born on October 17, 1949, in Stephenville, to Gilbert and Guyla (Rudd) Davis. On January 3, 1970, he was united in marriage to Lenora Haggard. He was the president of Pecan Valley Partners for many years. Danny was a member and former president of the Texas Pecan Growers Association. He was a member of the Gustine United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lenora Haggard Davis of Gustine; sons, Jerrod Lee Davis and wife Angela of Dallas and Steven Conaway Davis of McAllen; four grandchildren, Edward Davis, Eileen Davis, Pierce Davis, and Gunnar Davis; mother, Guyla Davis of Stephenville; sisters, Brenda McKinney and husband Ronnie of Stephenville and Barbara Luker and husband Ken of Stephenville; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Davis and brother, Alan Wayne Davis.
