FUNERAL SERVICE:  2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. ROSARY:  6:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home. VISITATION:  Family will meet with friends at Comanche Funeral Home following the Rosary.   David Garcia, Jr., age 40, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in Lampasas, Texas. David was born on January 5, 1979, in Brownwood, Texas to David Garcia, Sr. and Louisa (Banda).  He was one who loved his family. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a Houston Texans football fan. He had an eccentric taste in music and a love for life. He is survived by his special friend, Angela Thompson of Lampasas; son, David Garcia III; father, David Garcia Sr. and wife, Lisa Gandy of Houston; mother, Louisa Garcia of Buda; four sisters, Elizabeth McGinnis and husband, Antonio Irias of Austin, Audrianna Adame and husband, Samuel Kaczmarek of Ohio, Juli Ann Adame and husband, Ezequiel Estrada of Austin, and Rebecca Davalos and husband Carlos Davalos of Comanche; six brothers, Joey Garcia and wife, Stacey Garcia of Austin, Thomas Parker of Houston, Ramon Salazar of Spur, Richard Salazar of Comanche, Antonio Garcia of Mineral Wells, and Joe Daniel Garcia of Comanche; grandmother, Julia Garcia of San Angelo; several wonderful nephews and nieces; and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Antonio Garcia.
