David Rogers, age 64, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, in Brownwood, Texas.
He was born on October 27, 1956, in Grapevine, Texas, to Frank Ira and Gertrude Lavonna (Nesbit) Rogers. In May, 1978, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Hill in Hasse, Texas. She preceded him in death on February 3, 2019. David was a self-employed rancher. He was a devout Christian and was a preacher.
He is survived by his brothers, Dean Rogers and wife Sheila of Comanche, Aaron Rogers of Comanche, and Norman Rogers and wife Catrina of Comanche; sisters, Ira Lonna Shaver and husband Buzz of Illinois, Retha Strickland and husband Dana of Waco, and Linda Hanus and husband Mark of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Gertrude Rogers; and sisters, Brenda Brown, Lafran Rogers, and Bonnie McClellan.
