VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 13, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. LUNCH: Family will have lunch at 421 CR 333, in Comanche County, following the funeral services. Debbie Habersat, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, in Temple, Texas. She was born on December 21, 1953, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Jesse and Conception Rojas. On June 26, 1971, she was united in marriage to Michael Habersat in Kansas City. Debbie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in De Leon. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Michael Habersat of Proctor; son Jason Lucas and wife Krystle of Kansas City; seven grandchildren; mother and step-father, Conception and Cecil Chappell of Proctor; six brothers: Paul Gonzalez and wife Laura, twin brother Alfred Gonzalez, Abad Gonzalez and wife Marsha, Cecil Chappell and wife Tammy, Jesse Gonzales, and Andy Gonzalez and wife Stephanie, all of Kansas City; sister, Brenda Gomez and husband Chris of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Gonzalez, and sister, Patricia Chappell.
