DeLisa A. Durham McDonald passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Dallas Medical City Hospital after what began as an adverse reaction to the COVID vaccine on January 2021. She was born on January 27, 1960, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas to Joe A. and Sarah W. Durham of Richardson.
She attended RISD Schools and graduated from Richardson High School with the Class of 1978. DeLisa attended the University of Texas in Austin. Later she worked in Richardson with the family-owned company until it was sold. She worked for several other companies, but was employed by ALH for a number of years prior to the COVID out break.
The Durham family joined First Baptist Church in Richardson in 1958, DeLisa was baptized at an early age and continued to attend for many years. She was an avid golfer, Texas Ranger Fan, and a true Longhorn. She was a member of Oakridge County Club in Richardson; Stonebridge Country Club in McKinney; and Shady Valley Country Club. She participated in many golfing events in the metroplex.
In 2013, DeLisa was introduced to Bruce McDonald by a mutual golfing friend. They were married on November 21, 2015 and became residents of Arlington.
Family, friends, and pets have always been tops with DeLisa, and just below Jesus Her Lord and Savior!
Surviving her: faithful husband, Bruce McDonald; Brother, David Durham and his wife, Liz; Parents: Joe and Sarah Durham; step children: Kelly George, Caden Perreault, Zane Beam, Emily & Colter, Mylea and Matt Beam.
