Dominick Porco

Dominick Porco, 91 of Comanche, Texas, died on Friday, September 30, 2011, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 19, 1920 in Pennsylvania, to Frank and Giovanna (Gharrjano) Porco. For 30 years he worked as a Quality Control Superintendent for Weber Aircraft in Burbank, California. Dominick was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Comanche. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a loving father and caring person. He was united in marriage to Frances Carbono in Pennsylvania on September 19, 1941. He is survived by his wife, Frances Porco of Comanche, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Patricia Porco of Comanche, Texas; two grandchildren; one sister, Pearl Riggouri of California; and two brothers, Paul and Setty Porco of California. Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 P.M. At the request of Dominick Porco, there will not be a funeral service.
