FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 15, 2014, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County. VISITATION: Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Donald Blake Bartlett, age 70, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014, in Comanche County, Texas. He was born on December 13, 1943, in Comanche County to Blake and Cleo (McNutt) Bartlett. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. On October 21, 1967, he was united in marriage to Louann Chancellor in Comanche. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2011. Donald was a Baptist. He was an outstanding father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was employed by AMPI as a truck driver until he retired after many years of service. He was a member of VFW in Stephenville. He is survived by his son, Cliff Bartlett of Comanche; granddaughter, Maici Bartlett of Comanche; great-grandson, Caden Buford of Comanche; sisters, Jane Welch and husband Carl of Comanche, and Mary Spruill and husband John Mark of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Blake Bartlett, and his parents, Blake and Cleo Bartlett.
