Doris Stockton

VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Doris Stockton, age 67, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015, in Abilene, Texas. She was born on January 8, 1948, in Levelland, Texas, to Commodore and Christeen (Taylor) Stockton. For many years Doris worked as a piece welder for Texas Instruments. She was a gifted welder and won many awards for her work. She is survived by one sister, Hettie M. Owen of Lubbock; one brother, Richard Wayne Stockton of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christeen and Commodore Stockton, and brother, Thomas Stockton.
