She was born on January 18, 1945, in Comanche, Texas, to Doyle O. and Delma (Bain) Adcock. In 1965 she was united in marriage to Stephon Brodie in Fort Worth. Dorothy was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was an excellent homemaker and, for forty years, she worked for AAA.
She is survived by her husband, Stephon Brodie of Fort Worth; grandchildren: Sable Spottswood, Damian Spottswood, and Ethan Spottswood; sister, Nelda Devron; brother, Levi Adcock and wife Patricia; sister-in-law, LaNell Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Steva Brodie; granddaughter, Shaye Spottswood; parents, Doyle and Delma Adcock; and brothers, Glynn Adcock, Roicie Adcock, and Henry Adcock.
