VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Tuesday night from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Dorothy Mae Trammell, age 70, of Comanche, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Brownwood Regional Medical Center in Brownwood, Texas. Dorothy was born on October 1, 1943, in Junction, Texas, to John R. Williams and Azzie Lee (Logan) Williams. She was united in marriage to Thomas Trammell, in Galveston, on October 2, 1959. Dorothy was Director of Patient Care for Girling Health Care. She was a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Trammell of Comanche, Texas; son, Thomas Trammell Jr. and Cindy Bunz of Dysart, Iowa; one daughter, Debra Patterson and husband David of Hughes Springs, Texas; son, Richard Trammell and Maria Bustamenta of Comanche, Texas; son, Charles Trammell and wife Gabby of Waxahachie, Texas; two sister-in-laws, Elaine Trammell and Lydia Clark and husband Melvin. Dorothy had ten grandchildren: Sandra Trammell. Tanya Trammell, Amanda Trammell, Thomas Trammell III, Amy Trammell, Azzie Lee Byler, Kirk Duncan Jr., Christina Browne, Ashley Wiser, and Breanna Trammell. Dorothy had thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Azzie Lee (Logan) Williams, stepmother, Catherine Williams, grand daughter Amy Marie Trammell and sister, Carol Ann Williams.
