Edna Parent, age 83, passed away, on Monday, November 30, 2020, in De Leon, Texas.
She was born on June 5, 1937, in Bethel, North Carolina, to Oscar and Lillian (Bland) Stalls. On December 8, 2002, she was united in marriage to Almon Louis Parent, Sr., in Toyohvale Texas. He preceded her in death. Edna was a loving, caring, mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord and was devoted to her family. For most of her working life she was a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She retired in 1999, while living in Rogers, Arkansas. Edna treated everyone she met with kindness and was rarely without a smile.
She is survived by her son, Donny Beville of Comanche; daughters, Brenda Almasri of Tarboro, North Carolina, and Barbara Harper of Bakersville, California; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Lillian Stalls.
