Edna Roberson

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Edna A. Roberson, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, in Brownwood, Texas. She was born on August 10, 1922, in Mason, Texas, to Ohtus and Mary Adealia (Burks) Robbins. On January 22, 1946, she was united in marriage to Fredrick I. Roberson in Stephenville, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2005. Edna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three children: son, Freddy Roberson and wife June of Odessa, daughter, Mary Valdez and husband Frank of Brownwood and son, Charles Roberson and wife Susan of Mission; nine grandchildren: Kami Brown and husband Chris of Mckinney, Denece Silva of Dallas, Darrell Broyles of Anna, Cory Roberson and wife Stephanie of Odessa, David Roberson and wife Adriana of El Paso, Amanda del Mas and husband Danny of Aledo, Roxanne and Josh Lujan of Odessa, Parker Valdez and wife Sonya of San Angelo, and Cristina Roberson of Dallas; and thirteen great-grandchildren: Mallorey Silva of Comanche, Katelyn Roberson of Odessa, Michael Silva of Comanche, Kennedy Brown of McKinney, Zayne Lujan of Odessa, Zoey Lujan of Odessa, Scottie Broyles of McKinney, Bailey Roberson of Odessa, Gaven del Mas of Aledo, Justin Valdez of Brownwood, Austin Roberson of El Paso, Barrick del Mas of Aledo, and McKenzie Walker of Brownwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ohtus and Mary Robbins and one sister, Avis Massey.
