Elias Gutierrez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, and brother Elias Gutierrez. Elias was born on February 8th, 1978, in Dublin Texas to Santos and Mary Gutierrez. He was joined together with Susan Johnson in 2008, the two were each other's backbone through all of life's ups and downs.

Elias loved gardening, grilling out and watching Monday night wrestling with his son Connor. He enjoyed being around his family and was always the life of the party, always making sure everyone was laughing and having a good time. If ever he felt bored, you could find him sitting on the couch watching reruns of Yellowstone or picking on his wife Susan. He was always up for a challenge despite any obstacles life threw at him. He was not one to complain about anything and always put himself second to others. If you knew him, you loved him.

Elias is survived by his wife Susan and children Connor, Madison, Anthony, and Haley; father, Santos Gutierrez; sisters, Lisa Sierra and husband Juvenal Sierra, Mariza Martinez and husband Felipe Martinez; several nieces and nephews and three grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Gutierrez; mother-in-law, Nettie Humphries.
