GRAVESIDE SERVICE:  11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Sipe Springs Cemetery in Comanche County VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Thursday, February 7, from 9:00 A.M. until time to leave for the cemetery. LUNCH:  Family will have lunch at the Cowboy Church in Beattie following the graveside service. MEMORIALS:  In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Assembly of God Church, 6360 Hwy 16, De Leon, Texas 76444. Elizabeth Darlene Rogers, age 61, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, in Comanche County, Texas. She was born on March 26, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas to Delton and Louise (Decker) Hill.  In May, 1978, she was united in marriage to David Rogers in Hasse, Texas.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a homemaker and an outstanding cook. Elizabeth loved the Lord and was a member of Assembly of God Church in De Leon.  She cared for everyone around her and her love extended to all animals and living things.  She was very artistic and loved life.  She was a member of “Busy Bees”. She is survived by her husband, David Rogers of Comanche; daughter, Rachell Hicks of De Leon; granddaughters, Brittany Rainey of De Leon and Charlsa Mata and husband Abel of Brownwood; five great-grandchildren: Aubrianna, Kayden, Noah, Aison, and Dawson; sister, Norma Jean Boykin of Comanche and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, J.J. Hicks; brother, Larry Vanderslice; sister, Debra Davis; and parents, Delton and Louise Hill.
